Leader Dog is offering a new and exciting new tool to assist the visually impaired known as the Trekker Program, a Global Positioning System with speech. This new tool can be used in concert with the traditional Leader Dog or as a standalone program. The unit cost is $1900.00 and must be paid for from a secondary source, either by the recipient or a sponsoring organization. Leader Dog will provide a 5-day course for training and orientation at no charge to the recipient.
